EAS is providing environmental expertise and support to the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) organizations and project in the areas of environmental regulations, planning and mitigation, and compliance, to support the execution of construction and infrastructure projects on the Hanford Site. Work for this project focuses on:
- Reviewing work planning documents
- Supporting pre-bid walkdowns
- Performing environmental screenings for environmental requirements identification
- Developing project area maps for environmental reviews
- Interfacing between project staff and HMIS Ecological, Cultural, and NEPA staff
- Assisting in conducting pre-conceptual/NEPA pre-decisional planning activities
- Supporting development of environmental regulatory documents, permits, and schedules
- Assisting with responses to data requests, information gathering, status updates, and associated support.
