Billy Drawdy
Billy Drawdy is a Senior Environmental Scientist with over 40 years of experience leading diverse teams and environmental programs. He has 38 years of experience leading teams for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in environmental cleanup, compliance, NEPA and Natural Resources. Some examples of complex projects Billy has led are as follows: As Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs Officer at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, he led the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) team for the Expansion and Modernization of Townsend Bombing Range, the EIS team for the Bed Down of the F35B on the East Coast as well as multiple Environmental Assessment efforts. He also led the Logistics and Environmental efforts to secure the crash site, provide around the clock logistical services to those working the site and conduct the environmental cleanup after the crash of a F35B on an isolated island in Beaufort for approximately one month after all debris was removed and cleanup completed.
Since retirement from the Federal Government, Billy has worked in the private environmental consulting sector to provide services to Department of Defense clients.
