James Bard

Project Manager

Dr. Bard is a professional archaeologist and has over 43 years of of experience in California, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and other states. In 1977 he founded. James conducts investigations for urban and rural planning; water, energy, mineral resources development; and for federal, state, and local transportation development agencies throughout California and Nevada. He has designed and managed cultural resources investigation programs to support the preparation of environmental assessments, environmental impact reports, state environmental policy act reports, and national environmental policy act environmental impact statements for federal, state, and municipal agencies. He has a broad technical and geographical background in all aspects of cultural resource assessment and regulatory compliance, program management, technical analysis, research design, National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 compliance, and tribal consultation
