EAS is currently completing an Environmental Impact Analysis to evaluate the impacts associated with the addition of F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft and F-22A aircraft, as well as construction and renovation projects in support of the authorization of 268 additional personnel. The Environmental Assessment (EA) will also evaluate contractor-owned contractor-operated Adversary Air training at Nellis AFB and the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). Led by Project Manager Paige Rhodes and Deputy Project Manager Kevin Groppe, the objective of this effort is to implement the Environmental Impact Analysis Process (EIAP) by preparing an EA, and other documentation to determine potential impacts of the Proposed Action and Alternatives, and addressing and analyzing all resource areas.
EAS has performed all work associated with the identification of applicable legal requirements, identification of necessary notification, analyses, investigations, studies, and other work related to the preparation of the EA analyzing the Proposed Action, No Action Alternative, and reasonable range of alternatives in order to support the Air Force in the execution of the EA requirements.
