EAS is providing Environmental Impact Analysis Process (EIAP) services and an Environmental Assessment (EA) in support of the United States Air Force establishing an Air National Guard Space Control Squadron at multiple locations in Hawaii and Guam. Additionally, EAS is providing Environmental Baseline Survey (EBS) services for real property transactions at Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam (JBPHH) and Andersen Air Force Base (AFB).
The project includes analysis of a range of activities, including demolition of facilities, renovation, construction of new facilities to accommodate personnel, facility and equipment requirements. Candidate locations include the Pacific Missile Range Facility (Barking Sands, Kekaha, Hawaii), JBPHH (Honolulu, Hawaii), and Andersen AFB (Yigo, Guam).
EAS is responsible for a range of project tasks including on-site data collection, establishment of environment baselines, development of the EA, and development of the EBS documents for JBPHH and Andersen AFB. EAS also leads a team responsible for the development of a Class I Literature Review for cultural resources at each of the project sites.
