U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes Restoration Initiative

EAS is providing highly specialized expertise and technical services to execute the overarching objectives and goals of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Action Plan.  EAS is providing all personnel and supervision necessary to manage multiple task orders simultaneously at multiple locations.  Tasks performed in this program include conducting watershed studies, preparing watershed management plans, implementing watershed management projects, aquatic plant and invasive species control, and ecosystem restoration, including formulating plans and cost/benefit analysis.  Additional tasks focus on the collection of baseline data, topographic surveys, structural stability analysis, cultural resource investigations, social impact analysis, human health and ecological risk assessments, and NEPA compliance.  Other tasks focus on data analysis and modeling, including hydrodynamic modeling, surface water modeling, geospatial data management and analysis, and database management and interface design.
